Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finishing Specialist to join their team. As a Finishing Specialist, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting quality assurance and ensuring the highest standards of aerospace product finishing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Finishing Specialist

Location: TRAVERSE CITY, MI

Pay Range: $19/hr , +$3/hr shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift

Shift: Multiple shifts available
(6:00am-2:00pm Monday - Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am, Sunday-Thursday)

What's the Job?

  • Perform visual inspections of aerospace components to ensure quality standards are met
  • Use manual and automatic hand tools to deburr aerospace products, removing burrs and imperfections
  • Scan parts to complete operations and accurately maintain process records
  • Collaborate with the Quality department for part approval and process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
