Equipment Operators/Assembly Associates

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare work for digitization by extracting payments and documents from mailing envelopes.
  • Sort, organize, and assemble payment documents, invoices, checks, remittance materials, and other records.
  • Prepare documents for scanning, imaging, and processing.
  • Operate high-volume scanning and processing equipment while ensuring image and document quality.
  • Input, validate, and reconcile data and electronic records with paper documentation.
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with processing requirements.
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate missing, incomplete, or non-routine items to supervisors as appropriate.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, customer-specific instructions, security requirements, and compliance guidelines.
  • Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while meeting individual and team goals.
  • Cross-train and learn additional processing functions and equipment operations as needed.
  • Support other operational and production functions as assigned.
  • Lift and move mail trays, boxes, or files weighing up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • No prior experience required; training provided.
  • Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
  • Ability to work in a high-security production environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and general PC usage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
