Responsibilities

Summary

This position provides data entry into the Automated Reentry Management System (ARMS) including reporting and exporting data. This position serves as the designated point of contact for addressing data quality and systems issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry including participant profiles and verifications, in-custody and CBP contact verifications , in-custody authorizations for STOP services and participant admits and discharges.
  • Maintains the STOP database, performing all data entry, report and export data as required by CDCR, GEO Corporate, the GEO Area Manager, STOP Program Director, and/or the Staff Accountant.
  • Produces monthly invoices, produce and distribute service verifications to community-based programs (CBP), research and reconcile data errors as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with one (1) year of documented experience.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Must possess excellent knowledge of English and spelling.
  • Must possess a level of maturity to deal with sensitive issues.
  • Ability to know and comply with program documentation requirements, applicable ethical and professional standards of conduct.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and office skills.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as government regulations, legal documents, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional environs and decorum in the STOP Placement Office.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
