You’ll work closely with both the accounting and operations teams, supporting daily transactions, inventory tracking, and month-end reporting while building valuable real-world accounting skills.


What You’ll Do

Daily Tasks

  • Process accounts payable invoices (coding, matching, and data entry)
  • Assist with scale ticket invoicing and corrections
  • Record receipts and help track expenses and liabilities
  • Support daily production and tonnage reporting
  • Help set up orders and maintain records in internal systems

Inventory & Data Support

  • Assist with maintaining inventory pricing and material records
  • Support updates to pricing lists and system data
  • Help create and update purchase orders
  • Participate in maintaining mix and job-related information

Month-End Support

  • Assist with month-end close activities, including:
    • Basic reconciliations
    • Data checks and reporting
  • Help ensure all transactions are entered accurately and on time
  • Provide support for internal reports and audits

Additional Support

  • Help review vendor statements and flag discrepancies
  • Provide backup support for key accounting tasks during team absences
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as document preparation and data entry
  • Respond to internal requests and help gather information

What You Bring

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or administration (co-op/internship counts!)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Comfortable using Excel and learning new systems
