Job Description

Responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating parts for tools and machinery using mechanical equipment; interpreting blueprints and design sketches to meet exact specifications and tolerances; selecting and operating tools to cut, shape, and finish metal, plastic, or composite materials; setting up, maintaining, and servicing equipment for safe and efficient operation; using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality; assembling components into sub-units or complete units; and consistently upholding all company safety policies and procedures while ensuring coworkers do the same.
Key Responsibilities

  • CNC Operation & Setup: Operate CNC Lathes and efficiently set up and operate Haas bar feed, Haas bar chuck, and Haas dual spindle machines.
  • Machining & Technical Support: Troubleshoot machining problems, perform minor program editing, and assist with other machine operations.
  • Inspection & Data Entry: Perform product inspection and complete data entry for production tracking into company computers.
  • Post-Processing & Handling: Clean, de-burr, and package finished products.
  • Facility & Equipment Support: Operate forklift, maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, and complete other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • CNC Program Editing-Some experience preferred.
  • CNC Set-up. -Some experience preferred.
  • General machine operation.
  • General quality systems.
  • General inspection practices.
  • Visual inspection.
  • Ability to read blueprints/part prints.
