Job Title
Pay Rate: Up to $139,800.00/year, up to 10% bonus
Location: Oshkosh, WI strongly preferred. New Hudson, MI site will also be considered.
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, up to 2 days remote)
Relocation: Offered to Oshkosh, WI, but not to New Hudson, MI
Travel: Minimum travel (1-2 times per year to other sites)
Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret datasets using statistical techniques, machine learning, and programming skills to extract insights and build models that solve business problems.
- Utilize data science tools such as Azure Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Office, Spark, Python, R, and C.
- Process structured and unstructured datasets to analyze large amounts of information to identify trends and patterns.
- Prepare and deliver analysis results in visual and written forms to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs for complex business requirements.
- Build complex predictive models and machine-learning algorithms and integrate them into existing systems or create new products.
- Direct data science assignments, projects, visualization tasks, data quality improvements, and troubleshoot data incidents.
- Resolve and document solutions to track and manage incidents, changes, problems, tasks, and demands.
- Coach and mentor team members on new technologies and best practices across data science and business intelligence.
- Support the advancement of the strategic roadmap for data science.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with five (5) or more years of experience in the field or a related area.
Preferred Skills
- Master's or doctorate degree.
- Expertise in Power Platforms.
- Familiarity with LLM (open source or closed).
- Experience in front-end web app development (Flaskapp, Gradio, etc.).
- Familiarity with RAG architecture.
