As our Engineer III - Civil, you'll be joining our growing civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to develop a diverse range of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV, Wind).
Job Responsibilities:
  • The Civil Engineer will work under a Project Lead (PE) on multi-discipline projects.  They will interact directly with our internal hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering teams.
  • The role requires technical skills in Civil Engineering design including grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, stormwater management, and SWPPP calculations and reports.
  • They will utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, and grading features to produce engineered construction plans with minimal oversight
  • Complete stormwater and E&S calculations to ensure quality standards are met for Engineers to stamp construction drawings and reports. 
  • Ability to engage in multiple projects to complete successful requirement deliveries
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals in order to assist with permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies
  • On occasion with may perform site visits to validate site constraints and civil design solutions.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required
  • FE or EIT is strongly encouraged
  • Professional Engineer is nice to have
  • Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D, HydroCAD strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS, GIS, PV CASE nice to have
  • Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or battery storage is preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience.
