Operations Coordinator Position Summary:

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and assisting with the execution of all facets of water & wastewater compliance. The individual will have regular interaction with regulatory authorities and will provide focused support for internal and external client needs. This individual will play an integral part in assisting and implementing support procedures and policies regarding new compliance regulations and business unit initiatives, while regularly interacting with a diverse group of team members.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences for Operations Coordinator:

  • Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or related field. Two to Three years of experience in a similar position is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other MS office functions.
  • Ability to consistently read, analyze, interpret data/results and respond to inquiries or requests from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present information to team members, management, public groups and /or clients.
  • Regulatory comprehension is essential. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ideal candidate holds a professional license such as Commonwealth of Massachusetts Grade I Drinking Water Distribution/Treatment License, Grade 3M Wastewater License, Title-V inspector, Backflow Prevention Device Inspectors License and or Backflow Surveyors License or ability/willingness to obtain.
  • OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
