S&ME is seeking a motivated and results-driven Practice Leader to help us expand into and lead our growth in the Industrial & Data Centers market across the organization. As the Industrial & Data Centers Practice Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping S&ME's presence in a high-demand, rapidly evolving market by driving new revenue, building client partnerships, and developing high-performing teams.
The Industrial & Data Center market segment is part of S&ME's Business Growth Team where we utilize our life cycle approach providing our core services of environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering along with construction materials testing services and special inspections to support our industrial and private clients.

What You Will Do:
Drive Growth and Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Industrial/Data Centers market that aligns with company initiatives and goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the market for our key services; environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering along with construction materials testing services and special inspections.

Build Relationships that Matter
  • Establish and grow key client relationships at local, regional, and national levels within the market
  • Collaborate with local operations and expand existing client relationships
  • Leverage your network and industry presence to position S&ME as a trusted partner for each of our service lines
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships

Lead, Build, and Inspire Teams
  • Partner with internal leaders to build the team, capabilities, and resources needed to scale

What You Bring:
  • Proven success driving revenue growth of our core services (geotechnical, environmental, civil and construction materials testing/special inspections) within Industrial, Data Centers, or similar markets
  • Strong network and client relationships within the industrial and./or data center industry
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project/program or market leadership roles
  • You have a proven track record of winning and delivering opportunities for multiple clients within the Industrial and Data Center market
  • Relevant professional licensure (PE/PG or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
