Job description

Are you an experienced Data Cabling Installation Technician looking for a company that values your skills and leadership? A Texas-based, family-run cabling and telecommunications company is expanding and looking for a motivated technician to lead its installation team!
With over 30 years of combined experience, this team offers a great environment to grow your expertise while working on exciting commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Cable installation, ensuring smooth operations and clear daily objectives based on commercial blueprints.
  • Install and maintain structured cabling (Cat 5, Cat 6, and fiber optic) at a commercial job site; hospital.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures, identifying effective solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering timely and professional service.
  • Conduct site surveys for complex facilities and attend required training and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Must have structured cabling pulling experience
  • Must have blueprint reading experience.
  • Must have experience with Commercial Projects, NOT only residential.
  • Preferred to have experience pulling and terminating Cat 6.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen (No felonies in last 7 years).
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday
  • AM Shift: 7:00AM – 4:00 M (site orientation required prior to starting)
Pay Rate:
  • $24-$26/Hour
  • Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
