Job Description

This is an on-site operations position at Honeywell Aerospace Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) in Olathe, KS. This position requires you to report on-site at the customers facility 5 days per week (Monday – Friday).

Service and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordination and completion of FTZ documents (e.g., 214’s) using data provided by Honeywell

  2. Work with broker and on-site teams to ensure smooth flow of data elements and paperwork to meet daily and weekly deadlines

  3. Facilitate successful execution of complex transactions using training or experience; Honeywell personnel will review transactions before finalization

  4. Fluent in all aspects of FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping systems (data entry, reporting, and analysis)

  5. Assign correct classification for products not listed in the master parts database

  6. Work internally with engineers and Honeywell compliance to obtain missing shipment data

Qualifications
  • Experience with US Customs Brokerage Services
  • Solid understanding of the Expeditors culture & expectations.
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, and familiarity with PowerPoint)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require future sponsorship for employment Visa
  • Must have the ability to work overtime in support of department needs
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday while remaining focused and organized
  • Demonstrated ability to be pro-active in thought and action
