Job Overview
The Sr Analyst, Commissions is a subject matter expert within Commission Operations focused on process improvement, projects related to Commissions and a lead resource for Associate Analysts. This person is responsible for analyzing, reviewing and reporting out on procedural process improvements to support commission payouts. They serve as a liaison between internal partners, to include Systems, Testing, Reporting and HR Compensation design.
** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and will be based in Overland Park, KS. **
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and/or report out on a variety of reporting needs determined by Commissions Client Services.
  • Conduct operational assessments to identify risks, gaps and propose and report on systematic solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution/completion.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for commission's related projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in the development and testing of processes that impact commissions.
  • Provide Analytical support to Commissions Management Team and Program Managers.
  • Responsible for validation of System data loads and commissions payouts, impact assessments, and resolution of commissions payout issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal partners to include, Systems, IT, Testing, Reporting, and Compensation Design.
  • May act as a lead for other Analysts on the team.
  • Developing professional expertise, applies company compensation policies to support timely and accurate employee payout.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement.
  • Responsible for any other task as needed to support Business needs.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)

Work Experience:
  • 4-7 years Operations or Commissions experience (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated analytical experience (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail (Required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management (Required)
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing demands (Required)

  • Wireless Telecom experience (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in customer escalations (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $64,000 - $115,500
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
