NAVWAR 8.0 is responsible for the oversight and successful execution of all corporate operations related activities for NAVWAR in support of Navy-wide Information Dominance initiatives. Due to reorganization along functional lines, this program office is consolidating and contracting for support across several 8.0 functional areas. This includes Corporate Operations, Strategic Management, Business Planning, Workforce Management, Military Management, Process Improvement, and Corporate Communications.

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President/Program Manager, the Data Analytics Specialist will assist NAVWAR 6.0 and SYSCOM Security Cooperation Office to develop and maintain tailored solutions to automate business processes and to streamline data visualizations using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI on the NAVWAR 8.0 Corporate Operations Support Services (COSS) contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do
  • Assist NAVWAR 6.0 and SYSCOM Security Cooperation Office to develop and maintain tailored solutions to automate business processes and to streamline data visualizations using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Modify solutions, as necessary, to meet client requirements.
  • Analyze data sources and processes to support clients Implement tools to automate and display data and processes using commercial best practices for data analytics and workflow in FlankSpeed or other application stacks.
  • Develop and retain configuration files, data, source code, scripts, reports, visualizations, analytics, and algorithms in tools within FlankSpeed Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Microsoft 365 developed products.
  • Prepare, analyze, and implement workflows to automate processes and data management.
  • Analyze, cleanse, aggregate, curate, and integrate data and workflow from disparate business systems.
  • Prepare architectures for Microsoft 365 developed tools and respective guidance Implement and support data analytics and workflow solutions in FlankSpeed (e.g., databases, data integration, encryption, cybersecurity, data visualization, application hosting, knowledge portals, low-code and no-code application platforms) .
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
  • Five (5) years of professional experience, with at least one year of directly related experience developing and sustaining custom Microsoft 365 tools and capabilities, including Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI visualizations in Microsoft 365 to meet client objectives in a US Navy program office or similar DoD environment.
  • Strong writing, data management, and computer skills including MS Suite of Tools, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to perform administrative functions to support client objectives in the Microsoft 365 Flank Speed environment
  • Experience working with SharePoint client object model to query lists, manipulate list items, create on-demand Experience creating tables, data models and security groups within Microsoft Dataverse reports to deliver easy-to-understand content.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Desired Qualifications: Experience in creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $70,304 - $83,000 This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
