Job description

Where We Need You:

Ohio EPA wants you to serve this role in the Division of Environmental Response and Revitalization (DERR) at our Central District Office in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Why This Is Important:

This position is key to the agency's ability to make data driven decisions that protect Ohio's environment and support community revitalization efforts. As a data analytics specialist, you'll act as lead in extracting and managing critical information within DERR's databases and serve as point of contact for data and information retrievals.

We need your expert skills to extract and combine data from multiple sources and use SQL to create useful, actionable reports that help the division understand and track its work. You'll apply analysis and visualization techniques to convert raw data into insightful information for dashboards, reports, and other business intelligence tools that support program objectives.

You'll also play a key role in supporting staff across the division by providing software training, maintaining documentation, and developing updated training materials to ensure teams can use information systems effectively.
