Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of new functionality within internally developed applications. This role focuses on translating business needs into well-defined data solutions, partnering closely with technical teams, and ensuring new application features meet data quality, validation, and operational standards prior to release.

The ideal candidate combines strong data skills with a structured, process-oriented mindset and is comfortable working across the full lifecycle of new application solutions-from requirements through approval and production support.

Job Description:

  • Design and create new datasets to support application enhancements and new functionality.
  • Partner with technical resources (e.g., developers, data engineers) to communicate business and application requirements clearly and effectively.
  • Translate business needs into data requirements, validation rules, and testing scenarios.
  • Develop and execute testing processes for new solutions, including data validation, reconciliation, and functional testing.
  • Design and document data validation frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of new application features.
  • Coordinate approval of new solutions for internal use, including documentation, validation evidence, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Support implementation activities and transition new functionality into production.
  • Participate in cross-training to support existing applications, including report execution, issue investigation, and production support as needed.
  • Document datasets, business logic, testing results, and implementation decisions to support long-term maintainability and audit readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve development, testing, and validation processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a data analyst, application development, or data-focused role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Alteryx or similar data preparation and workflow tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to create and validate datasets and support testing efforts.
  • Experience partnering with technical teams to deliver data or application solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and execute structured testing and validation processes.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey requirements and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, fund administration, or a regulated environment.

Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00
