Role: Reporting Analyst

Location: St. Louis, MO – Onsite
Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Enterprise Reporting Architect / Reporting Analyst to define and deliver scalable enterprise reporting and BI solutions. The ideal candidate will combine reporting architecture, data modeling, visualization, governance, and hands-on dashboard/report development to support operational, tactical, and executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute enterprise reporting strategy, architecture, standards, and roadmap.
  • Design scalable reporting ecosystems integrating multiple data sources, platforms, and applications.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and self-service analytics for business and executive users.
  • Establish standards for semantic models, data models, KPI definitions, metadata, visualization, and reusable reporting patterns.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to translate business objectives into actionable executive dashboards and decision-support solutions.
  • Ensure reporting solutions follow data quality, security, governance, compliance, and access-control standards.
  • Promote consistent enterprise metrics and trusted data across business functions.
  • Work with architects, engineers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement modern BI, analytics, AI, and ML capabilities, including natural-language querying, automated summaries, predictive insights, and conversational BI.
  • Explore and apply Generative AI for insight generation, data exploration, metadata enrichment, and reporting automation.
  • Assess and use enterprise data-standardization approaches such as Common Event Model (CEM) where applicable.
  • Build prototypes and reusable reporting frameworks that demonstrate scalable architecture and design standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and influence reporting decisions across teams without direct management responsibility.
Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of experience in BI, enterprise reporting, analytics, or data architecture.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise reporting architecture and hands-on BI development.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Splunk, AWS QuickSight, or comparable BI platforms.
  • Strong experience building enterprise dashboards, reports, scorecards, KPIs, and self-service analytics.
  • Knowledge of semantic modeling, data architecture, metadata management, KPI frameworks, and reporting governance.
  • Experience with cloud data environments such as AWS S3, Athena, and related enterprise data platforms.
  • Understanding of data security, access controls, governance, and compliance for reporting environments.
  • Familiarity with CEM or similar enterprise data-standardization frameworks.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-enabled BI, natural-language analytics, predictive insights, and automated narrative generation.
  • Practical experience applying Generative AI to analytics and reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with executive-level audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale reporting modernization/transformation initiatives.
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI/ML-driven reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into scalable reporting architecture and personally develop the resulting BI solutions.
