Job description

*Contingent Upon Contract Award* Summary DAS Services is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Engineer with experience planning, scoping, development, design, direction, management, and coordination of major projects related to Cellular system technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, direction and management of major projects related to technologies in the Cellular System at MuTC • Overall RF Spectrum Engineering and management at MuTC and Camp Atterbury, IN with respect to the MuTC Multidomain operations • Coordinate spectrum request through state and federal entities • Conduct and monitor spectrum baselines, monitor during TTE • Local deconfliction for TTE Required Qualifications: • Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management Certifications, or a related discipline - OR - Have 5+ years' experience in Cellular Systems Operations, Radio Frequencies (RF), and Spectrum Management • Possess experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G technology operations • Possess experience with cellular frequencies and coordinating with license owners • Possess experience with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Experimental Special Temporary Authority Licensing Applications, or other FCC licensing applications • Possess experience coordinating and deconflicting spectrum with the customer, to facilitate training objectives • Knowledge of the operational and performance characteristics of telecommunication equipment and transmission media, and of the relationship of component parts of communications systems • Possess practical knowledge of commonly applied telecommunications approaches, methods, and techniques Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting physical infrastructures, telecommunications and radio frequency networks, and the electromagnetic spectrum • Experience working in a Cyber Range, simulating real-world environments across physical, logical, and cyber-persona layers, which can be used for research, development, testing, training, and evaluation About DAS: Defense Acquisition Support Services is a Women Owned Small Business focused on hiring the very best people in Defense Contracting.
