POSITION SUMMARY:

The DAS Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, installation and execution of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) construction projects. This role ensures that DAS installations are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Construction Manager will work closely with project teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality DAS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop bid packages and Levels of Effort (LOE) for DAS construction projects.

  • Participate in vendor selection and negotiate contractor pricing.

  • Oversee and perform DAS system construction and installation, including conduit, fiber routing, equipment mounting, grounding, and antenna placement.

  • Provide field direction to general contractors and subcontractors performing civil and infrastructure work.

  • Conduct site visits throughout the project lifecycle including bid walks, pre-construction meetings, progress inspections, and project closeout.

  • Identify and resolve on-site construction or installation issues to maintain project timelines and cost targets.

  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, tracking, and closeout records.

  • Serve as on-site Safety and Quality Assurance representative during construction activities.

This position requires regular travel to project sites and strong coordination with customers, vendors, and internal project teams to successfully deliver DAS deployments.

CAPABILITIES & KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of iDAS construction methods and practices

  • Familiarity with test equipment and techniques for performing RF Sweep test, OTDR, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing

  • Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications.

  • 2 + years of experience in DAS construction management.

  • Strong knowledge of DAS technology, RF principles, and wireless communication systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role requires both office work and frequent travel to construction sites.

  • Must be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
