General Summary
Administer the daily operation of specific functions related to company vehicles in Kia America's (KUS) sales in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Develop analytical tools to monitor and track company vehicle department cars at all levels; make recommendations to reduce overall operating costs; and recommend corrective actions in order to achieve greater levels of efficiency. Provide support for the Company Vehicles team, for all company vehicle-related activities. Support management in planned and ad-hoc projects/activities as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1st Priority - 35%
Facilitate the KUS vehicle delivery and return process for both internal and external customers.
2nd Priority - 25%
Process all CA DMV new registrations and renewals for company lease vehicles. Accurately complete all DMV related paperwork and audits by the required time frame. Process planned non-operation notices.
3rd Priority - 20%
Administer the KUS Employee Vehicle Purchase Program by working with employees who are interested in purchasing returned company vehicles and assisting them through the sale process with local dealers.
4th Priority - 15%
Main point of contact for all vehicle transporters that arrive at KUS to drop off and pick up vehicles. Inspect each car for damage upon arrival/at time of return and note accordingly.
5th Priority - 5%
Schedule and interface with vendors to ensure all vehicles are prepared and ready for delivery in a timely manner.
Qualifications/Education
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Overall Related Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with direct administration of corporate fleet vehicle activities.

Directly Related Experience
  • Experience with vehicle allocation, inventory control, vehicle repair/maintenance, vehicle record keeping and knowledge of overall vehicle distribution operations is required.

Job Requirement
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must always have a valid Driver's License and maintain a responsible record that meets the criteria established by KUS at all times.
  • Required to drive company vehicles

Pay Range
$54,833.34 - $68,511
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
