Education LevelGraduate Degree## DescriptionThe Expressive Therapist is responsible for clinical services provided to children, adolescents and/or adults, as assigned. The clinician is held accountable for all related clinical, administrative, and Quality and Compliance responsibilities.**Essential Responsibilities and Metrics*** Provides Therapy, Counseling and Crisis Intervention to Clients and their Families (Provides high-quality service and maintains direct service hours per month of 63% with a minimum of 30-35 clients)* Creates IMCANS (IATP) Assessment (Completes IATP within 30 days of initial meeting with client, modifies and reviews as needed, updates and records IATP in SmartCare as needed and ensures updates are completed prior to six months due date)* Case management* Program planning and development and other administrative work 37%* Client centered consultation with community providers* Attendance and participation at clinical presentations* Use of supervision or consultation when required or needed* All Progress Notes will be entered into the medical record as soon as possible but in no more than three business days of the date of service* Compliance with all Policy and Procedures* Maintain productivity goals as determined by supervisor* Keep weekly schedule current* Be responsive to the business office regarding client fees/payments* Complete requests time off in a timely through the Program Director* Represent the agency with integrity**Art/DMT Responsibilities*** Assess client needs, using drawing, music, painting, sculpting, theater, movement, or other expressive processes-based interventions.* Conduct creative or expressive therapy sessions providing guided self-expression experiences to help participants feel an increased sense of wellbeing, connection, improved self-esteem, and empathy for others.* Establish therapeutic goals or objectives for creative or expressive therapy sessions in consultation with the Clinical Supervisor or Director.* Request purchase or gather materials for in-studio for sessions.* If skilled, conduct workshops on techniques of using art in therapeutic relationships in Teaching Artists, interns, volunteers and staff or partner organizations.## Qualifications* Minimum requirement of a master’s degree in art therapy, dance movement therapy, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another human service-related field.* Three professional references that reflect ability to perform clinical work* 1 Year of post master’s degree Mental Health experience required* Demonstrated awareness of multiple cultures and cultural impact on the delivery of service is a must. #J-18808-Ljbffr
