To thrive as a Dance Major, you need a solid background in dance techniques, performance, and choreography, typically supported by formal dance training or prior experience. Familiarity with dance notation software, music editing tools, and knowledge of anatomy are often beneficial. Creativity, discipline, adaptability, and strong collaborative skills help dancers excel in both solo and ensemble settings. These abilities are vital for mastering complex routines, expressing artistry, and succeeding in a competitive performing arts environment.

What are Dance Majors?

The curriculum often includes both practical training and academic coursework to provide a well-rounded understanding of the field.
