Warehouse Associate – Wire Puller / Wire Cutter

1st Shift | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

McNaughton-McKay Electric Company is a long-established electrical distributor serving contractors, manufacturers, and industrial customers across the Midwest.

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate focused on wire in Columbus. This role focuses on pulling, measuring, and cutting electrical wire to fill customer orders.

This is a hands-on warehouse job for someone who shows up on time, works steadily, and takes pride in doing the job right.


Schedule
  • Monday – Friday

  • 1st shift

  • No weekends

  • No holidays

Consistent hours with a stable company.


Pay

$18.50 – $23.50 per hour

Pay is based on wire cutting and warehouse experience, reliability, and equipment skills.


What You'll Do

This role supports daily operations in our distribution warehouse.

Your main responsibility will be pulling and cutting wire for customer orders.

Daily work includes:

  • Pulling wire from reels and spools to fill customer orders

  • Measuring and cutting wire to exact lengths

  • Using wire cutting machines and warehouse equipment

  • Staging completed orders for shipping

  • Using RF scanners to track inventory and orders

  • Assisting with receiving and stocking wire inventory

  • Keeping the wire area organized and safe

Accuracy matters. Many orders require specific wire lengths, so attention to detail is important.
