Description
Primary Purpose:
Delivery of equipment to customers/provide familiarization training/Pick up equipment.
Essential Functions:
  • Safely load/unload rental equipment in order to deliver to customer jobsites on Time.
  • As directed by dispatch and Rental Manager, provide timely communication to the customer regarding your schedule for the day (pick-ups and deliveries) in order to provide our customers with a superior level of customer service.
  • As part of the customer service call, you will communicate Admar polices regarding having a customer representative on site to confirm delivery and condition of equipment and at pick up to confirm condition of equipment in order to identify any damage. This will require pictures to be taken on site
  • As part of the delivery process, you will be required to provide familiarization training to the end user/operator in order to comply with Admar safety and liability insurance policy.
  • Daily inspection and documentation of delivery vehicle and trailer. Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations; report any problems to supervisor immediately.
  • Comply with all Federal and Local rules and regulations regarding driving and load securement.
  • Notice any damage on rental units when picking up equipment, report to supervisor.
  • Keep assigned delivery vehicle and trailer clean and free of visual defects, including that proper Admar logos are not faded or missing.
  • Participate in and seek out training opportunities to learn about the functions and features of all the equipment that you deliver and pick up
  • Be knowledgeable regarding local roads and associated restrictions. Provide insights to dispatch in order to expedite routing
  • Be fully familiar with the benefits, feature, and safety aspects of your assigned delivery
  • Follow Admar policy regarding signatures at delivery and pick-up, noting damage billing and triage
  • Fuel and check all fluids (DEF, oil, wiper fluid etc) in truck daily.
  • Report all accidents and issues to dispatch ASAP call police if needed.
  • Other duties as required

Experience/Education:
  • 3 to 5 years' experience Driving Pickup Truck with Trailer
  • Ability to use tie downs / Straps / Chains
  • Equipment experience a plus

Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk. Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • The work environment is that of a typical warehouse office. Some exposure to cold, heat, noise, fumes and dust.
  • Specific vision requirements included close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to distinguish colors

Salary Description
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
