Job description

The D365 F&O Senior Developer will be a creative and self-driven individual with excellent communication, organization, and technical skills to enhance and support the D365 F&O application for Readerlink Distribution Services. Design, develop, maintain, and test business software applications. This position requires excellent organizational and analytical skills and interaction with business teams to understand business needs.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Perform detailed investigative work for potential projects.
  • Analyze business requirements.
  • Produce design specifications and related documentation for software systems.
  • Prepare, review, and present feasibility studies for various systems to senior management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of software and hardware products as they relate to the business of Readerlink Distribution Services.
  • Research and recommend strategic directions and solutions.
  • Transfer knowledge to other technical and business owners to promote professional growth within the company.
  • Work with the technical experts within vendor organizations to resolve problems as well as propose new or changes to existing software systems.
  • Participate and lead workflow and design reviews with the business owners and provide productive feedback and solutions.
  • Create end-user documentation and provide end-user training.
  • Respect confidentiality of company and personnel-related data and information.
  • Provide product support when required.
  • Respond promptly and take ownership of client-reported issues and changing business needs while maintaining scheduled commitments.
  • Assist in auditing development work for proper programming standards.
  • Work with the development team in implementing new programming and documenting techniques.
  • Support and develop D365 data integrations to/from other data platforms.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • Three (3) plus years of working with Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is preferred.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience managing D365 F&O projects is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders, share knowledge, contribute to collective goals, and build positive working relationships to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Ability to communicate complicated information to others.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Salary:$120,000.00 - $132,000.00
