Location – Washington, D.C. - Remote
Fulltime Permanant
 
Summary:
Our client, a government contractor in the healthcare space, seeks a 100% remote MS D365 Developer. The role carries no supervisory responsibilities and reports directly to the Technology Lead.
This position is ideal for a motivated developer with foundational knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The Developer will assist with configuration, development, testing, documentation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions while working closely with senior developers, architects, business analysts, and project team members.
Responsibilities:
Dynamics 365 and Dataverse Support:

Assist with configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse solutions.
Create and update tables, columns, forms, views, business rules, and model-driven app components.
Support data entry forms, dashboards, and user interface improvements.
Help troubleshoot issues related to Dataverse security roles, permissions, and application behavior.
Participate in solution deployment activities under the guidance of senior team members.
Power Platform Development:
Build and maintain basic Power Automate flows to support business processes, notifications, approvals, and data updates.
Assist in creating and maintaining Model-driven Apps using Dataverse.
Support Power Pages development, including page updates, forms, lists, Liquid templates, and portal configuration.
Help test and validate Power Platform components across development, test, and production environments.
Front-End Development:
Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support Power Pages customization and user interface enhancements.
Assist with styling portal pages, improving layouts, and fixing front-end issues.
Support client-side scripting for form validation, dynamic page behavior, and user experience improvements.
Work with existing code and follow established coding standards.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation.
Help investigate and resolve bugs, configuration issues, and user-reported problems.
Document test results, defects, and resolution steps.
Work with senior developers to understand root causes and apply appropriate fixes.
Documentation and Collaboration:
Maintain clear technical documentation for configurations, flows, customizations, and support procedures.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and project managers.
Participate in team meetings, solution reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Ask questions, learn from feedback, and continuously improve technical skills.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Basic understanding of Microsoft Dataverse.
Experience or working knowledge of Model-driven Apps.
Experience building or modifying Power Automate flows.
Familiarity with Power Pages configuration and customization.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new tools quickly.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established standards.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently with guidance from senior team members.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
Experience with Liquid templates in Power Pages.
Basic understanding of REST APIs or web services.
Exposure to Power Platform solutions, environments, and deployments.
Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
Microsoft Power Platform certification is a plus but not required
Education and Experience
Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent hands-on experience, training, bootcamp completion, or certifications may be considered.
0-2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or related business application development.
