Job description

Jackson James is thrilled to be working with a Manufacturing organization as they search for a experienced D365 F&O Finance Consultant to support a finance transformation within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on functional consultant with strong D365 F&O Finance expertise to take ownership of finance workstream activity, engage with senior stakeholders, and help deliver a successful implementation or optimisation project.


As the D365 F&O Finance Consultant, you will work closely with finance and technology teams to streamline business requirements, configure D365 F&O Finance, support testing, and ensure the solution aligns with business processes and project objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the Finance workstream across a D365 F&O implementation, upgrade, or optimisation project.
  • Gather, analyse, and document finance business requirements.
  • Configure D365 Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Tax, and Financial Dimensions.
  • Run workshops with finance stakeholders to map processes and identify fit-gap requirements.
  • Produce and review functional design documents, process documentation, and configuration guides.
  • Support system testing, SIT, UAT, data migration, training, and go-live activities.
  • Work closely with technical consultants, developers, architects, and project managers to deliver robust finance solutions.
