Inventory Specialist
Pay Range: $17.50 - $22.00/Hour

Through innovative process automation technology, the company engineers and manufactures products that serve over 500 commercial poultry hatcheries in over 65 countries worldwide.
Nova-Tech houses every aspect of its business on the MinnWest Technology Campus, including a manufacturing facility located just steps away from our engineering and drafting teams. Walking from building to building, you can observe our whole process, from concept to final product.
What we're looking for:
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming shipments into the inventory system
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations
  • Create production kits and fulfill parts requests
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and record updates utilizing Microsoft D365
  • Pack and prepare parts, equipment, and materials for shipment
  • Replenish Kanban bins to support production flow
  • Coordinate recycling pickups with external vendors
  • Support team operations by training new members and participating in meetings
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

What you'll do:
As an Inventory Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving the flow of materials across our supply chain. This position oversees the receiving, storing, cycle counting, kitting, and distribution of goods.
Other key areas include:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Visual ability to perform detailed inventory and warehouse tasks
  • Strong reading and logistical skills
  • Effective communication skills with strong follow-through
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills (ex: e-mail, excel, Inventory Management System)
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds with potential up to 70lbs
  • Ability to drive company vehicle
  • Forklift experience preferred
