Job description

About this role:

The Public Cloud enablement team accelerates cloud adoption by providing SME consulting and support services including designing, building, and optimizing cloud infrastructure. The team also creates tools, training, documentation, and best practices to empower developers to build and deploy cloud native applications effectively and efficiently. We reinforce the you build it, you run it methodology through standardization and federation of knowledge, tooling, and job aids. This role is ideal for a coder who understands the toil of infrastructure and is passionate about removing barriers with automation for fellow engineers.

As an engineer on the team, you will perform a variety of tasks daily, not only assisting in the design of solutions, but also resolving issues along the way. You may be the primary engineer on a project or supporting a Principal Engineer on a portfolio of solutions. You must be self-directed, comfortable driving solutions without clear requirements and have a developer-first mindset.


In this role, you will:

  • Solution delivery - Assist in migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud environments from initial discovery through post production warranty

  • Curation of assets - Develop and maintain IaC patterns, customized container images, reusable automation scripts, and pipeline templates
  • Coaching - Cloud CoE approach is to train, coach, and support development teams
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Lieson between EFT teams and core services teams such as Cyber, CTO, and EDO
  • Continuous Improvement - identify and solve for efficiency, security, and risk reduction in existing process, integrate existing enterprise process and tooling with assets

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Git SCM, Terraform including module development and testing, CI/CD pipelines, HashiCorp suite
  • Proficient knowledge of Linux, networking, and security fundamental
  • Proficient knowledge of observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
  • Any CNCF certification preferred
  • 3 yrs experience designing application solutions for either/or GCP, Azure preferred followed by AWS, including establishing customer tenancy.
  • 2 yrs experience containerizing solutions for Kubernetes based services, helm charts, Kustomize, service mesh, GITOPS, docker and/or podman

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
