Cycle Count Lead (SAP Required)
Ensures the integrity and accuracy of inventory through a structured cycle count program within a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Coordinates daily cycle counting activities, investigates inventory variances, and maintains alignment between physical inventory and SAP system records.
Responsibilities:
Leads and executes daily cycle counting activities across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Ensures adherence to the cycle count schedule based on ABC inventory classification
Investigates inventory discrepancies and performs root cause analysis
Tracks and resolves missing pallet issues by analyzing material movement in SAP and warehouse operations
Verifies material quantities, identification, and bin locations in SAP
Ensures materials are stored in correct locations and accurately reflected in the system
Verifies CHEP pallet inventory and communicates updates to Supply Chain
Coordinates cycle counting team activities and assigns daily tasks
Performs daily inventory checks of non-consumables and communicates with vendors as needed
Identifies and reconditions damaged finished goods or raw material pallets
Conducts warehouse audits to ensure system-to-floor inventory alignment
Identifies and corrects issues such as misplaced materials, blocked aisles, and orphan pallets
Leads monthly wall-to-wall physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy
SAP Responsibilities:
Executes and monitors cycle count transactions within SAP (MM / WM / IM modules)
Processes inventory adjustments in accordance with company procedures
Runs SAP inventory reports to identify discrepancies and trends
Supports inventory reconciliation, COGI cleanup, and overconsumption analysis
Supports goods receipt, goods issue, bin transfers, and inventory adjustments
Inventory Governance & Compliance:
Maintains inventory accuracy targets (98-99%+)
Ensures RF scanning compliance for all material movements
Supports GMP and internal audit requirements
Partners with operations teams to prevent material shortages and delays
Promotes process discipline and continuous improvement
Experience:
3-5 years of warehouse or inventory control experience.
Experience performing cycle counts in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Specific Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SAP inventory systems
Experience with RF scanning systems
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
