Work you'll do

As an AWS Cloud Security Manager on the Enterprise Security team, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud security solutions aligned to client business, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Manage security assessments, architecture reviews, and remediation planning for cloud environments, applications, and infrastructure
  • Oversee delivery teams executing cloud security transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives
  • Advise clients on AWS identity and access management, network security, logging and monitoring, encryption, and secure configuration practices
  • Drive project execution, stakeholder coordination, quality reviews, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams

The team supports security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or cloud security
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or assessing security controls in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
  • 3+ years of experience leading project teams, workstreams, or client engagements
  • Experience with AWS identity and access management, network security, encryption, logging and monitoring, cloud security architecture, security assessments, remediation planning, and secure configuration of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), generative AI, and agentic AI workloads on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker, as well as mitigation of risks such as prompt injection, model exfiltration, data poisoning, and insecure agentic AI orchestration
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Professional certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS), cloud security, or cybersecurity
  • Experience with container security, application security, or DevSecOps practices
  • Experience securing machine learning, generative AI, or agentic AI workloads and pipelines on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, or autonomous agent frameworks
  • Experience with AI/ML security risks and governance practices, including model and data protection, prompt injection defenses, and guardrails for autonomous AI agents
  • Experience supporting cloud transformation or migration programs, including application of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, or control standards in cloud environments
  • Master's degree

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.
