MANTECH is seeking a motivated Technical Writer II to join their team in Crane, Indiana. The role involves assisting in the preparation of various technical documents and ensuring the clarity and quality of documentation for Navy and Marine Corps programs focused on defensive cyber technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents
• Translate technical information into clear and concise documentation that is easily understandable by end-users
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all technical documentation produced
• Organize and structure information effectively to facilitate easy navigation and retrieval of documentation
• Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and readability
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and make recommendations for process improvements
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
