POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of enterprise technology and business initiatives at Vessco Water. Positioned within the Project Management Office (PMO), this role is delivery-focused and accountable for managing projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring results meet defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
This role partners closely with Technology Services, business stakeholders, platform companies, and external vendors to execute projects that enable Vessco Water's strategic priorities, including ERP optimization, application delivery, data initiatives, infrastructure improvements, cybersecurity efforts, and acquisition integration. In addition to project delivery, this role assists in the ongoing development and maturation of the PMO by contributing to standards, processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead assigned projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, transition, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, schedules, milestones, and associated documentation.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies; drive timely resolution and escalation as required.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project deliverables are completed as planned.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and status reviews.
  • Provide clear and timely project status reporting, including progress, risks, decisions, and next steps.
  • Execute projects in accordance with PMO standards, templates, and governance processes.
  • Assist in developing, refining, and maturing PMO practices, including tools, templates, governance processes, and delivery standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improving project delivery effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
  • Support change management, communication, and transition activities to promote successful adoption of delivered solutions.
  • Ensure operational handoff, documentation, and training activities are completed prior to project closeout.
  • Lead formal project closeout activities, including lessons learned and benefits realization review.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTITIES:
  • No direct reports.
  • May coordinate or oversee third-party vendors or contract resources for assigned projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology, or a related field required, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on project management experience in a technology, operations, or enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Strong project planning, execution, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and influence skills.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and manage risks and issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working within a PMO or structured project delivery environment.
  • Experience delivering ERP, data, application, infrastructure, or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Exposure to multi-entity or acquisition-driven organizations.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.

COMPENSATION: $116,424 - $148,000k + Bonus, Dependent on experience and qualifications

  • Office-based / hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to participate in meetings, including virtual meetings.
