Our Cyber Range as a Service (CRaaS) platform provides immersive, hands-on cybersecurity training and simulation environments that enable organizations to train teams, validate skills, and prepare for real-world cyber incidents in a secure virtual setting. Our clients include government agencies, defense organizations, educational institutions, and commercial enterprises seeking advanced cyber workforce development solutions.

We are expanding our team and looking for a high-performing Sales & Business Development Executive to lead growth initiatives for this emerging offering.

Position Overview

The Sales & Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence for XSI’s CRaaS platform.

The ideal candidate combines strong consultative sales skills with the ability to understand cybersecurity training challenges and communicate technical value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires a proactive hunter mentality, strong relationship-building capabilities, and experience managing complex sales cycles.

Candidates with experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS, IT training, simulation platforms, or government-focused technology solutions are strongly encouraged to apply.


What You’ll Do

Business Development & Pipeline Growth

  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across government, defense, higher education, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and execute multi-channel prospecting strategies, including outbound outreach, networking, referrals, conferences, and digital engagement.
  • Generate qualified pipeline opportunities and manage the full sales lifecycle from discovery through contract execution.
  • Develop tailored presentations, demonstrations, and proposals aligned to customer mission requirements and training objectives.

Strategic Relationship Management

  • Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
  • Serve as a consultative advisor by understanding customer challenges and aligning CRaaS capabilities to business and operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, renewals, and cross-functional solution offerings.

Market Expansion & Product Positioning

  • Monitor cybersecurity industry trends, workforce development initiatives, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership, marketing, and technical teams to refine go-to-market strategies and messaging.
  • Represent XSI at cybersecurity conferences, industry events, webinars, and networking engagements.

Sales Operations & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer engagement records within CRM platforms.
  • Provide regular reporting on revenue performance, pipeline health, market feedback, and sales strategy execution.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation platforms to improve prospecting efficiency, proposal development, and customer engagement.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnerships within cybersecurity, SaaS, technology, or IT services.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
