Radiation Therapist - (New grduates accepted)

Location: Halethorpe, MD
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Summary

Seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver safe and accurate radiation treatments using advanced radiation therapy technologies. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Key Responsibilities

Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments.

Perform CT simulations and patient positioning.

Conduct image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) procedures.

Monitor patients and maintain treatment records.

Perform equipment QA checks and ensure radiation safety.

Educate patients on treatment procedures and side effects.

Collaborate with physicians, physicists, nurses, and dosimetrists.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.

ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)).

Maryland Radiation Therapist License (Required).

BLS Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

1-2 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Experience with CyberKnife, TrueBeam, or advanced radiation therapy technologies preferred.
