Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Hospitalist Physician. The candidate for this position will be joining an established hospital within a strong community focused to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

Boone is currently a Magnet Hospital for its nursing excellence and has also been named the number one hospital in central Missouri and number five overall hospital in the state by U.S. News and World Report.

Overview

Practice Highlights:

  • Join a dynamic team within an established hospital environment dedicated to enhancing community health.
  • Provides evidenced based medical care to those patients of participating program physicians.
  • Responds to emergencies of all patients and responds as part of the Rapid Response Team.
  • Participates in medical staff quality improvement and review activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional medical care of assigned patients, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver compassionate care.
  • Perform thorough histories and physicals, adhering to hospital by-laws and best practices.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in this critical role at Boone Health.
