Who we’re looking for:


We are seeking an engaging and organized Senior Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Specialist for a potential opportunity to develop and deliver cybersecurity training, awareness initiatives and behavior-focused communications for mission personnel. The ideal candidate will bring experience creating effective training content, coordinating campaigns and measuring changes in awareness and security behavior. The Sr. Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Specialist role supports compliance and reporting activities to ensure full alignment with federal cybersecurity education and awareness requirements. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development and culture of an exciting and fast-growing company in the cybersecurity market. Employment for this position is dependent on the successful award of the contract.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Develop and deliver required cybersecurity training for users, system administrators, system owners and other designated personnel.
  • Create, support and execute awareness and marketing campaigns that alert system users to security concerns, threats and emerging trends.
  • Coordinate messaging, materials and delivery methods across operational sites and stakeholder groups.
  • Develop, implement and track metrics related to training completion, campaign participation and overall program effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements to training and awareness activities based on participation data, risk trends and organizational needs.
  • Support compliance and reporting activities related to federal cybersecurity education and awareness requirements.


What you need to know:


  • Experience in cybersecurity training, awareness, communications or instructional design.
  • Familiarity with federal security awareness expectations and role-based training concepts.
  • Strong presentation, writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to develop clear, practical and engaging content for varied technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience tracking, analyzing and reporting effectiveness metrics for training and outreach efforts.


Must have’s:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; a postgraduate degree from an accredited university may substitute for 6 years of experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking.
  • Applicants must currently be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, in compliance with federal contract requirements.

  • Active DOE Q or equivalent DoD Top Secret clearance.
