The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00

Join a high-performing team with a mature, award-winning Cybersecurity Awareness and Training program-and help shape what comes next. In this individual contributor role, you will lead initiatives that drive behavior change at scale, with a focus on technical audiences and risk-informed decision-making, translating security insights into scalable approaches that drive measurable improvements in behavior and risk reduction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute awareness initiatives aligned to Target's top cyber risks, with a focus on technical audiences

  • Partner with Cyber SMEs to interpret risk signals (e.g., policy violations, incidents, threat intelligence) and prioritize actions

  • Identify behavior patterns and risk drivers, and define targeted interventions to influence outcomes

  • Design and deliver targeted communications, campaigns, and learning experiences that translate risk into clear, actionable guidance

  • Incorporate user feedback and audience insights to continuously refine content and ensure relevance, usability, and impact for technical audiences

  • Own program effectiveness, using data and risk-based metrics to measure impact and improve results

  • Support and evolve program operations (e.g., reporting, platforms, resources)

  • Influence across teams to drive alignment and execution, particularly with technical stakeholders

About You
  • 5-7+ years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, communications, learning & development, or a related field

  • Strong program/project management skills with experience leading initiatives end-to-end

  • Experience leading communications, campaigns, or programs that drive behavior change at scale

  • Experience working with technical or engineering audiences, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance and drive measurable impact

  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity risks and modern technology practices (e.g., vulnerabilities, secure development, and engineering workflows), with the ability to stay current and engage effectively with technical audiences

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity, define direction, and set priorities

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence across teams and leadership, including technical stakeholders

Preferred
  • Familiarity with phishing simulations, learning platforms, or awareness tools

  • Experience managing or implementing vendor solutions

  • Experience exploring or applying emerging technologies (e.g., AI) to enhance learning, engagement, or program scale

  • Experience or foundational skills in UX, web, or application development (e.g., designing user experiences, basic front-end development, or working with interactive digital tools)

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
