Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cyber Planner to support advanced cybersecurity, mission assurance, and cyberspace operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and project coordination skills with experience supporting cyber assessments, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration in secure government environments.

This role requires a proactive professional capable of managing multiple priorities, coordinating technical activities, and supporting cyber operations planning efforts while maintaining strict attention to detail and mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support cyber assessments, cyber operations, and mission assurance activities
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and executing cybersecurity initiatives and operational projects
  • Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure successful mission execution
  • Prepare reports, briefings, schedules, meeting notes, and operational documentation
  • Support red teaming and cyber planning activities through research, coordination, and administrative oversight
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and task completion status
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and tracking systems for operational activities
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external mission partners
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procedures, security protocols, and operational requirements
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to develop presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, cyberspace operations, mission assurance, or red teaming concepts
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, mission-driven environments
Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience coordinating cyber assessments, cyber operations, or mission assurance assessments
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or federal cybersecurity programs
  • Knowledge of cyber planning processes, operational coordination, or security assessment activities
  • Familiarity with risk management, vulnerability assessment, or operational readiness processes
Preferred Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience managing schedules, action items, and operational deliverables
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently with minimal supervision
