Fraud Operations Leader

Our client is seeking a Fraud Operations Leader to build and mature an enterprise fraud prevention, detection, and response program. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced fraud operations leader who understands how technology, analytics, monitoring, and incident response come together to identify and reduce wire fraud. The ideal candidate has experience building or improving fraud operations and brings a strong understanding of cyber, security, or technical operations environments.

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $75-85/hr W2

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and mature an enterprise wire fraud operations program across monitoring, detection, analytics, intake, escalation, and response.
  • Establish fraud governance, operating procedures, escalation paths, controls, and reporting to create a consistent approach across the organization.
  • Bring together fraud, transaction, security, and operational data from multiple systems to identify suspicious patterns and improve fraud detection.
  • Coordinate fraud response efforts across Compliance, Information Security, Technology, Operations, Legal, and other business teams.
  • Develop fraud metrics, reporting, and operational improvements that strengthen controls and reduce exposure to attempted and successful wire fraud.

What Gets You the Job:

  • 7+ years of experience within fraud operations, cyber fraud, security operations, risk, compliance, or a related operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, or significantly maturing fraud operations, fraud detection programs, or similar enterprise operational functions.
  • Experience with wire fraud, payment fraud, fraud prevention, or fraud intelligence; title, escrow, or related transaction experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, analytics, incident response, escalation processes, governance, and operational controls.
  • Ability to work across technical and business teams and translate fraud intelligence, data, and emerging threats into practical detection and prevention strategies.
