We are seeking a Senior UX/CX Specialist to lead multimodal user experience research and design for high-impact FEMA systems, ensuring digital products are intuitive, compliant, and optimized for crisis response operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead user research, heuristic evaluations, and multi-channel experience design.
  • Oversee UX strategy, accessibility compliance, and content design.
  • Facilitate workshops, co-design sessions, and design reviews with stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-fidelity wireframes, design systems, and prototypes.
  • Provide Section 508 and WCAG guidance.
  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced UX research and interaction design.
  • Deep knowledge of accessible design for federal systems.
  • Experience integrating UX with Agile/DevSecOps teams.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Agile or UX certification preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust. Active Public Trust is preferred. FEMA Public Trust is highly preferred.
