Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Specialist to join our healthcare team at ASCENT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance and demographics, collect co pays
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
This position is responsible for supporting ASCENT operations at all local and outreach locations. Some travel required.
This position is full-time. Monday-Friday. No weekends. No holidays. CVMS offers a comprehensive benefits package to include health, vision, and dental insurance.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
