Job description

A growing Managed Services Provider based in Douglasville, PA is seeking a Junior IT Project Manager to join its delivery team. In this role, you will coordinate and manage the execution of client-facing IT projects - from onboardings and infrastructure rollouts to software deployments and technology migrations. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timelines are met, stakeholders are informed, and deliverables are completed to a high standard.

This position is a strong fit for someone coming out of a Customer Success, Account Management, or Project Coordinator role who is ready to take the next step into formal project management within a technical environment. You do not need to be deeply technical, but you should be comfortable working alongside engineers and translating project status into clear, business-friendly communication for clients. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and takes genuine pride in delivering a great client experience.

Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of experience in a client-facing role such as Customer Success, Account Management, Project Coordination, or IT support

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously

Experience maintaining project documentation, timelines, or status reports

Exposure to IT project types such as network deployments, cloud migrations, Microsoft 365 rollouts, or hardware refreshes

Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile/Scrum

Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, ConnectWise Manage, or similar

Understanding of basic IT concepts including networking, endpoints, servers, and cloud environments

CAPM, CompTIA Project+, or working toward a PMP certification is a plus

Experience creating client-facing project plans, status updates, and post-project summaries

What You Will Be Doing

Managing day-to-day execution of client IT projects, including scheduling, task tracking, resource coordination, and milestone management

Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular status updates and proactively addressing concerns

Coordinating internal resources including engineers, technicians, and third-party vendors to ensure timely project delivery

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation including scopes of work, project plans, risk logs, and meeting notes

Facilitating project kickoff calls, status meetings, and closeout reviews with clients and internal stakeholders

Identifying and escalating project risks, blockers, and scope changes in a timely manner

Supporting the transition from project completion to ongoing managed services by coordinating handoffs to the service delivery and account management teams

Contributing to process improvement efforts by capturing lessons learned and recommending workflow enhancements

Assisting senior project managers with larger or more complex engagements as needed
