Location: Oglesby, IL

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

John's Service & Sales is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our customers. This person will play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by answering phones, assisting customers, coordinating service requests and dispatching, and providing administrative support to the team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with customers and technicians, and managing multiple tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional, friendly customer service
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers and help address questions, service needs, and scheduling requests
  • Assist with dispatching technicians and coordinating service calls
  • Schedule appointments and communicate service information with customers and team members
  • Send and respond to customer and internal emails
  • Enter, update, and maintain customer and service information
  • Assist with organizing schedules and daily workflow
  • Use Microsoft Office and Google Sheets for tracking, communication, and administrative tasks
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed
  • Maintain a professional and positive experience for every customer

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service, dispatching, administrative, or office experience preferred
  • Strong communication and phone skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience using Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay up to $17.00 per hour, based on experience
