POSITION: CREDIT ANALYSTLOCATION: CORPORATE

First Service Bank, honored as one of Arkansas' Best Places to Work for six consecutive years (2020-2025), is now seeking a Credit Analyst who thrives on financial analysis and risk assessment. This role will help First Service Bank make sound lending decisions that support our customers and our mission. If you're within 30 miles of a First Service Banking location (or willing to relocate), we want to hear from you!

The Credit Analyst is responsible for performing in-depth financial analysis to determine the ability of individuals and businesses to service existing and proposed debt. This role estimates lending risks, including industry trends, interest rates, payment requirements, and cash flow—and communicates findings to Loan Officers, the Chief Lending Officer, Loan Committee, and Board of Directors to support informed decision-making.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to assess creditworthiness of individuals and businesses
  • Calculate and interpret financial ratios, cash flow, and debt coverage
  • Prepare clear, narrative reports for Loan Officers, Loan Committee, and Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers and Assistants to gather necessary documentation
  • Update annual financial reviews and report trends or concerns
  • Attend loan committee meetings and training sessions as needed
  • Represent First Service Bank in the community and promote our products and services
