Customer Service Representative

Ampco Pumps is a fast-growing manufacturer of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps used in the food and dairy industries, desalination, and various chemical and industrial applications. We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our growing team! The Customer Service Representative is a self-motivated individual whose primary responsibility is to assist internal staff and customers by processing orders, compiling quotations, and handling customer service-related inquiries.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Utilize product knowledge to solve customers' needs.
  • Guide and process customer orders and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers via phone and email.
  • Solve customer problems and find the best possible solutions.
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability.
  • Respond to shipping inquiries and answer order status questions in a timely manner.
  • Data entry, including preparing quotes and entering orders into the ERP.
  • Other duties as assigned.
