Salt Lake City, UT

Full-time

Job description

Filevine is a Legal AI company delivering Legal Operating Intelligence for the future of legal work. Grounded in a singular system of truth, Filevine brings together data, documents, workflows, and teams into one unified platform—where modern legal work happens with clarity and consistency.

Powered by LOIS, the Legal Operating Intelligence System, Filevine connects context across every matter to transform legal operations from reactive to proactive. LOIS reads, understands, and reasons across your data to surface insight, automate complexity, and give professionals the clarity and confidence to see more, know more, and do more. Fueled by a team of exceptional collaborators and innovators, Filevine’s rapid growth has earned AI awards and recognition from Deloitte and Inc. as one of the most innovative and fastest-growing technology companies in the country.

The Opportunity

We aren’t just building software; we are architecting the Legal Operating Intelligence System. Filevine is at a defining inflection point where legal work is being fundamentally reshaped by embedded intelligence. While the industry previously focused on transactional tools for lawyers, we built the tactical backbone for litigators. Our platform is designed for a future where a lawyer’s impact is no longer bound by administrative drag, but by their ability to leverage agentic intelligence to drive more work and higher profitability.

As the Customer Marketing Manager, you will own the narrative of what happens after a customer joins Filevine. Your mission is to nurture and scale our customer base, transforming legal professionals from power users into vocal, lifelong advocates. You will bridge the gap between our active users and the market, capturing real-world ROI and activating customer expansion strategies. This is a high-impact execution role where you will design the reference programs and lifecycle motions that turn customer satisfaction into predictable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Customer Advocacy & Reference Programs

  • Build the Bench: Scale a world-class customer reference program that turns Filevine’s power users and AI adopters into vocal advocates, reference calls, and case study stars.

  • Sourcing and Creation: Personally interview customers to write compelling, ROI-driven case studies, video scripts, and user testimonials highlighting the power of LOIS and our core platform.

Pipeline Growth & Expansion Strategy

  • Upsell opportunities within GTM: Collaborate with events, webinar, and product teams to promote product launches or events to Filevine’s customer base.

  • Customer Adoption Campaigns: Design and execute engagement campaigns (newsletters, user groups, webinars) aimed at increasing platform adoption, feature utilization, and overall customer lifetime value (LTV).

Front-Line Content & Community Engagement

  • User Content Creation: Develop customer-facing collateral, adoption toolkits, and release communications that simplify complex legal-tech workflows for existing users.

Qualifications
  • Professional Experience: 7+ years of customer marketing, advocacy, or lifecycle marketing experience in B2B SaaS (legal-tech or AI-tech experience is a significant plus).

  • Obsessive Customer Curiosity: You love listening to customer calls, understanding user friction points, and finding the human-interest angles behind data-driven workflows.

  • Exceptional Storytelling: A proven track record as a strong writer who has personally drafted compelling case studies, customer newsletters, and promotional content.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: Demonstrated ability to coordinate project workflows across Customer Success, Account Management, and traditional Marketing teams.

  • Program Management: You have managed customer programs for advisory boards, surprise & delight, or industry events.

  • Demonstrated experience executing multi-stage email campaigns and customer journeys within HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
