Inside Sales: Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor
Shift/Schedule: Day Shift (8:00-4:30 / 9:00-5:30)
Job Purpose
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships by providing prompt, professional, and effective support. This role assists customers with inquiries, processes purchase orders, provides product and service information, and resolves issues to ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, the representative contributes sales support by managing quotations, cross-referencing competitor products, and facilitating communication between customers, sales representatives, and internal teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers, ensuring all requests are handled promptly and thoroughly.
  • Effectively manage multiple responsibilities or quickly shift between tasks while maintaining focus, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships and trust with customers through open, clear, and interactive communication.
  • Accurately and efficiently process customer orders with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Open and route incoming emails to the appropriate employees or save and label them correctly for recordkeeping.
  • Assist customers with quotations, stock checks, pricing, RMAs, packing lists, and invoice copies.
  • Respond to and assist visitors through HubSpot Live Chat in a professional manner while creating contacts and generating leads.
  • Support customers with competitor product crossovers by providing accurate Fullerton part numbers from descriptions.
  • Maintain customer account information, representative codes, and manage out-of-stock items on the blue sleeve list.
  • Perform additional clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
  • Document professional achievements and progress to actively participate in the company's review process with your supervisor.
  • Maintain 5S standards and a neat, organized work area.
  • Demonstrate and uphold Fullerton Tool Company Core Values in all interactions.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/Education/Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
