Insurity’s Next Senior Project Manager
This position will drive the delivery of software and services to insurance customers while reporting to the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at Insurity. Our Project Managers manage multiple projects through control, coordination, and the reporting of scope, change, cost, risk, and quality across those projects. The successful candidate will have experience managing projects for insurance entities.
 
What Our Project Manager Will Do
  • Run multiple projects simultaneously to support the successful implementation of new applications and systems based on business and customer objectives including:
  • Drive the delivery of services to the customer, managing customer inquiries and requests as assigned
  • Manage weekly project meetings and monthly status reporting – including meeting preparations, scheduling, agenda preparation, content and presenter planning, documenting, and distributing minutes and action items, scheduling any follow-up sessions, etc.
  • Negotiate with first line resource managers for project resources; as well as effectively communicate with Product Engineering and Sales on resourcing
  • Develop strong relationships across the business to ensure the project team is successful
  • Through expertise in industry best practices, tailor the balance of scope, schedule, resources, and quality against the needs of the project and overall business strategy
  • Collaborate and provide mentorship and guidance to peers on project management methodologies
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
