Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with customers and discusses our discounts.
  • Resolves issues about any of our discounts or programs.
  • Reaches out to customers and sets appointments.
  • Cross-sells to our customers with regards to the Multi-Line discount.
  • Handles incoming calls and answers any questions.
  • Collects payments and makes policy changes.
  • Sets up bill accounts and works on other simple billing requests.
  • Submits claims paperwork that is requested by the claim’s representatives.
  • Provides proof of insurance documents that are requested by clients.
  • May assist with INFB Health Plans.
  • Any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements for Success:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3 years of customer service experience, insurance experience preferred.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license required or must be able to obtain this license within a year.
  • Working knowledge of Farm Bureau discounts and programs or ability to learn this information quickly.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interact professionally with our internal and external clients.
  • Proficient in using Android and Apple phones.
  • Ability to have patience and understanding in guiding customers through technology.
