Job Profile
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, managing inventory levels, and supporting key customer accounts to ensure product availability and service excellence. The Demand Planner partners cross-functionally to align demand, supply, and business strategy while driving improvements in forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
Responsibilities
  • Primary demand planning support for key customer accounts, ensuring alignment between customer demand signals and supply execution.
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Planning, and Procurement to align forecasts with business plans and supply constraints.
  • Support monthly S&OP process, including demand review and alignment to financial and operational plans.
  • Estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve demand and supply imbalances through proactive analysis and corrective actions.
  • Build inventory plans to establish appropriate stocking levels to support customer demand.
  • Ensuring optimal stock availability across distribution channels to provide positive customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Align with Netceed customer growth strategies to exceed market expectations.

Requirements/Key Experiences
  • Prior purchasing experience is required.
  • Understanding of purchasing and inventory management practices.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and works well in a team environment.
  • Strong Communication and negotiations skills.
  • The ability to instigate and manage changes within a dynamic environment is essential.
  • PC experience is required with Windows experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Advanced Excel (pivot tables, modeling).
  • ERP / planning systems (SAP, Oracle, etc. if applicable).
  • Data analysis experience.
  • APICS experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% including nights and weekends, as needed
